We have already spoken about the word order, for example in the chapter Pronunciation, Negation in German, Some conjunctions, Adverbs, Relative clauses. In all these chapters we have seen, that certain situations require a certain word order in a phrase. Sometimes this is a "normal" word order as in "normal" affirmative sentences; sometimes the word order is different from that depending on the elements and their position. Now we will try to get a grip on this phenomenon and we try to give a complete overview.
