  Du kämmst dich.
= You comb yourself*.
but: Du kämmst dir die Haare.

  Er kämmt sich.
= He combs himself*.
no difference**: Er kämmt sich die Haare.
= He combs his hair.
  Wir kämmen uns.
= We comb ourselves*.
no difference**: Wir kämmen uns die Haare.
= We comb our hair.
  Ihr kämmt euch.
= You comb yourself*.
no difference**: Ihr kämmt euch die Haare**.
= You comb your hair.
  Sie kämmen sich.
= They comb themselves*.
no difference**: Sie kämmen sich die Haare.
= They comb their hair.
* Here we used a literal translation to emphasise the difference, even though it does sound quite weird.
** That there is no difference is due to the the fact that the accusative and the dative are equal in first and second person plural.
