Pronominal Adverbs |
 |
German knows a variety of pronominal adverbs. Pronominal
adverbs are something a bit strange, because they play
the role of a pronoun or substitute a noun or an idea.
The translation into English is mostly a preposition and
'it'. In German to a word like da, wo, hier is added a
preposition (at, against, to etc.). The history of this
creation might be interesting to a linguist, but however
for learning German it's just to be learned.
